Images from the 2007 China International Bicycle & Motor Show in Shanghai. It was gigantic. There have been 5697 booths in 9 buildings that covered 105000 square meters of convention hall. The companies had been certainly not holding back.
Many of the designs have been based on European and American styles. Even so, there have been bicycles and other merchandise that were uniquely Chinese. I was pleasantly shocked at the large assortment of electric bicycles, e-scooters, and e-motorcycles that have been on display. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
