ENGLISH
Falconry or hawking is an art or sport which entails the use of educated raptors (birds of prey) to hunt or pursue game for humans. There are two traditional terms utilized to describe a particular person involved in falconry: a falconer flies a falcon an austringer flies a hawk (accipiter). In modern falconry, buteos are now typically utilised, and the words "hawking" and "hawker" have turn into used so much to imply petty travelling traders, so "falconer" and "falconry" now apply to all use of educated birds of prey to catch game.
Classic view of falconry state that the art started in Mesopotamia. The earliest evidence comes from around the reign of Sargon II (722-705 BC). Falconry was almost certainly introduced to Europe about AD 400, when the Huns and Alans invaded from the East. Frederick II of Hohenstaufen has been noted as one of the early European noblemen to take an interest in falconry. He is believed to have obtained firsthand understanding of Arabic falconry throughout wars in the area (among June 1228–June 1229). He obtained a copy of Moamyn’s manual on falconry and had it translated into Latin by Theodore of Antioch. Frederick himself produced corrections to the translation in 1241 resulting in De Arte Venandi cum Avibus (The Art of Hunting with Birds).
Historically, falconry was a popular sport, and status symbol, among the nobles of medieval Europe and feudal Japan in Japan it is known as takagari. Eggs and chicks of birds of prey had been quite rare and high-priced, and considering that the method of raising and training a hawk or falcon requires a lot of time and money and space, it was more or much less restricted to the noble classes. In Japan, there were even strict restrictions on who could hunt which sorts of animals and exactly where, primarily based on rank within the samurai class. In art and in other aspects of culture such as literature, falconry remained a status symbol extended right after falconry was no longer popularly practiced. Eagles and hawks displayed on the wall could represent the noble himself, metaphorically, as noble and fierce. Woodblock prints or paintings of falcons or falconry scenes could be bought by wealthy commoners, and displayed as the next ideal issue to partaking in the sport, once more representing a particular degree of nobility.

CASTELLANO

Chiharu Shiota (塩田 千春 Shiota Chiharu) is my favorite artist observed at Art Basel Hong Kong 2013. There are at least four sculptures from this series observed at the show. By the finish of my pay a visit to I have learned her name intimately [1].
These series of sculptures all function the exact same 3 raw supplies: metal, threads and an each day object. Their structural building is the exact same. Colour threads are secured to the metal frame exactly where they travel in midair organically to kind a cocoon-like structure to hold an daily item—a children’s dress in this case—in mid air.
Wonderful art to me often hold one particular house which is universal—pure magic by means of the method of an artist’s imagination. This is one such instance. Its presence is beyond what an image or words alone can transpire.
Extremely advised.
