BEIJING — In the name of fighting pollution, China has sent the price of compact fluorescent light bulbs soaring in the United States.
By closing or nationalizing dozens of the producers of rare earth metals — which are employed in energy-efficient bulbs and a lot of other green-energy goods — China is temporarily shutting down most of the sector and crimping the international supply of the vital sources.

An assistant manager at a Palm Bay barbecue restaurant was jailed after police stated he confessed to secretly voiding out consumer present cards and comp tickets to preserve far more than ,300 in cash for himself.
